SunRail resumed limited operations this morning at 7 a.m., southbound from the Debary Station, and 7:15 a.m., northbound, from the Sand Lake Road Station.

The limited service was needed to give crews time to complete work at some railroad crossings that were damaged because of Hurricane Irma. The limited service allowed trains to navigate the corridor safely, while the work took place.

As SunRail resumed limited service, it did so for free for today only. Those who have weekly, monthly and annual passes, will receive credit for the time SunRail was away, as well as for the free day. The limited schedule is posted online at www.sunrail.com.

As always, please be careful around trains, railroad crossings and on SunRail platforms. Be smart. Be safe.
