A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Kissimmee died Friday evening after a crash in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A Wisconsin man was driving an SUV with three passengers and was headed south along Old Lake Wilson Road near Teascone Boulevard around 6:43 p.m. Friday, FHP says.

At the same time, a Kissimmee man was riding his motorcycle south along Old Lake Wilson Road approaching Teascone Boulevard.

The SUV crossed over the southbound lanes to make a U-turn onto Old Lake Wilson Road, and entered directly into the path of the motorcyclist, striking it and causing the Kissimmee man to be thrown off, troopers said.

The Kissimmee man was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the occupants in the SUV were injured, according to the FHP crash report.

Northbound and southbound lanes on Old Lake Wilson Road were closed down Friday night while troopers investigated the crash.
