Positively Osceola asked a number of positive leaders in the community to share their hope and their plans for the new year, and how we can encourage and support each other in 2022.  We asked Jill Bolander Cohen, CEO of The Lifeboat Project to share her hope and outlook for 2022.

As the Founder and CEO of the Lifeboat Project, I am now entering my eleventh year working in the anti-human trafficking area. So much awareness has been happening along with services being provided for the victims and survivors of this horrific evil. It seems not that long ago people were so unaware of trafficking; it was right under their nose the entire time.

Today, many folks know the signs of human trafficking and how to reach out for help, however, we have a long way to go.

I am encouraged by the collaboration, passion, and commitment I see from the Osceola Community. As we roll into 2022, be encouraged that when we work together, we are stronger and can begin to eradicate these crimes against humanity.
