$5,000 Reward Offered After Man’s Body Found in Kissimmee Canal; Police Seek Public’s Help

The Kissimmee Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in an ongoing homicide investigation after a passerby discovered a body near the Emory Street canal on the morning of November 28.

At approximately 8:17 a.m., officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting the discovery of a deceased male. After arriving on the scene law enforcement confirmed the body was that of a man, and the death is being treated as suspicious. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death remains active.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen anything unusual in the area on the evening of November 27, leading up to the 9-1-1 call, to come forward. Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 407-846-3333.
