A 55-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Osceola County just east of Poinciana Parkway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to FHP, a car driven by a 42-year-old Kissimmee man was traveling south on New Castle Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. His car struck the side of another vehicle in the intersection, driven by 55-year-old man who was heading west on KOA Street.
The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said.

The driver of the car that ran the stop sign was airlifted to Osceola Regional with serious injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, according FHP’s crash report.
