The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office continues to expand its team, officially swearing in 22 new deputies during a ceremony held today at the Sheriff’s Office. The additions mark another step in strengthening public safety and enhancing service to the residents of Osceola County.

Alongside the new deputies, the Sheriff’s Office also welcomed 10 new 9-1-1 dispatchers, who will serve as the critical first point of contact between citizens and law enforcement officers in the field. Their role is essential in ensuring timely and effective responses to emergencies.

In addition, five civilian support staff members began their careers with the agency today, further contributing to the Sheriff’s Office’s mission of providing professional and reliable service to the community.

Sheriff Christopher A. Blackmon, who led the swearing-in ceremony, praised the dedication of the new hires:
