St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday typically associated with a bit of “holiday cheer, and some “extra” celebrating.  That’s where AAA’s free Tow to Go program kicks in to help. The free AAA program will be active at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 15th to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 18th.

If you can’t get home safely, just call AAA, give them the keys and they’ll give you and your car a lift – even if you’re not a member. Just call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO.

The goal of The Auto Club Group’s Tow to Go program is to prevent injuries and deaths caused by impaired drivers. It reminds party-goers to plan ahead by choosing a designated driver, staying where they are celebrating, or arranging other safe transportation.

The Tow-to-Go program offers a confidential ride service, ensuring that you and your vehicle are safely transported to a destination within a 10-mile radius. This initiative is designed to provide peace of mind, knowing that in times of need, a secure option is readily available to get you home safely.

Please note, the Tow-to-Go service operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not allow for advanced booking. AAA strives to accommodate every request, but please be aware that availability may be limited in rural regions or under extreme weather conditions.

“We’re proud to be that last line of defense, keeping people from driving impaired,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA. “We also remain committed to educating the public that it’s important to find a safe ride before drinking alcohol or taking drugs. This is critical so motorists are not in the position of having to decide if they’re sober enough to drive.”

Tow-to-Go has removed more than 30,000 impaired drivers from the road since it began 25 years ago.
