Walt Disney World has reopened for business, but not all of the Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom attractions and shows have joined in the reopening of  the parks.

According to a Disney spokesperson, the Primeval Whirl rollercoaster and Rivers of Light: We Are All One nighttime show, will not be returning to Animal Kingdom. The Primeval Whirl had only been operating seasonally prior to the COVID-19 closure – and will be not operate again.

Stitch’s Great Escape in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom is another attraction that has been permanently closed after being temporarily closed for some time.

Many guests are sad to see these beloved attractions leave, but are excited to see what will join the Princess and the Frog attraction as new additions to the parks.

If you are planning to visit Disney soon you can rest assured that the parks and cast members are taking as many precautions as possible with face mask requirements, temperature screenings and easily accessible hand sanitizing station just to name a few.

There is no question that some individuals are not comfortable with returning to the theme parks, even with precautions like face coverings, but for those who are… it’s a slight bit of normalcy and distraction during a very not normal time.
