Universal Orlando Resort is turning up the fear this fall as it unleashes the twisted world of Terrifier upon Halloween Horror Nights, with a brand-new haunted house inspired by the cult slasher film franchise. Guests will come face-to-face with Art the Clown in one of the goriest experiences in the event’s history.

Launching Friday, August 29, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando will introduce fans to the grisly Funhouse of Art the Clown—first seen in Terrifier 2—where terror takes center stage. Packed with iconic scenes, stomach-turning settings like the Clown Café and a revolting holiday nightmare, the haunted house will immerse guests in the blood-soaked world of Miles County, New York, with twisted characters including Vicky and the Little Pale Girl lurking around every corner.

Created by writer-director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone, the Terrifier series has become a cult horror phenomenon since its debut in 2008. Now, with three feature films and a fourth in development, the franchise continues to push the boundaries of horror—and the haunted house adaptation promises to do the same.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando runs on 48 select nights through November 2 and features 10 chilling haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and more. Guests can purchase a variety of ticket options, including single-night tickets, Express Passes, R.I.P. Tours, Premium Scream Night (August 28 only), and the Unmasking the Horror Tour. Multi-night passes such as Rush of Fear and Ultimate Frequent Fear Passes are also available starting at $199.99 plus tax.

Exclusive vacation packages include hotel accommodations, theme park admission, and Halloween Horror Nights access. Passholders can enjoy up to 40% off select hotel stays and access to exclusive perks and discounts.

Fans can also gear up for the horror with limited-release Terrifier-inspired merchandise, including t-shirts, bags, and a collectible puzzle piece for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights frame—available beginning Friday, July 11.
