St Cloud High School Students Spend Spring Break Giving Back to Visually Impaired Veterans

Most high school seniors would be spending their first day of Spring Break at the beach with friends or maybe sleeping in, but a group of Seniors from St. Cloud High School were up bright and early and for a very good reason… to make a “Positive Difference in Osceola County.” Jeff Johnson, Business teacher at SCHS, along with his students have founded ‘By Land or Lake’, a not-for-profit business run solely by the students. City of St. Cloud will be presenting another awesome event for the community on Saturday April 14th from 2pm-4pm. Driver Fatally Struck by Other Vehicle After Making an Illegal U-turn in Kissimmee

A 41-year-old man from Kissimmee was struck and killed Saturday morning after he made an illegal U-turn on Highway 192, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Florida Troopers reported that the man was driving a 1999 4-door Saturn westbound on U.S.192 at 2:15 a.m. when he attempted to make a U-turn into the grassy median and in doing so drove directly into the path of a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. It was an absolute beautiful Saturday morning in Kissimmee as the community geared up for an awesome St Patrick’s Day March for Meals 5K,  which partners with the Osceola Council On Aging in their quest to end senior hunger.
