Be prepared for the chance of strong to severe storms early Thursday as a cold front makes its through the Southeast tonight, and through Osceola County and Central Florida in the morning.

A line of storms that will likely bring lightning, wind and heavy rain that could produce local flooding, is expected in our area from 7-9 a.m.  There is a low chance of tornadoes or hail in our area from this system. A second line of rain is possible early to mid-afternoon tomorrow.

Downpours will accompany the storms during the late morning into the early afternoon Thursday.

So be advised and stay aware of possibility of severe weather in the morning, whether you’re headed out on an essential trip or not, and to be sure to have a way to receive warnings if any are issued.
