Osceola Tax Collector Bruce Vickers has made it official, he will run for re-election in 202o.
Prior to being elected as Osceola County’s Tax Collector in 2016 with 62% of the vote, he was a 16-year veteran of the Tax Collector’s office. Bruce worked his way up through the ranks and was the Director of the Tourist Development and Business Tax department before being sworn in as Tax Collector. During Vickers’ time as Tax Collector, he has focused on numerous upgrades in technology and time saving efficiencies in Osceola County, a wise move considering Osceola County is one of the fastest growing counties in Florida and the United States.
“I am pleased and honored to announce my candidacy for re-election as Osceola County’s Tax Collector. My ongoing priority as your Tax Collector is to identify additional services which offer greater convenience for Osceola citizens. Regular review of best practices, organizational performance, and customer service are –and will continue to be a priority of mine.”
