The Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee has unveiled its annual holiday spectacle, ICE!, featuring scenes from the beloved 2003 film “Elf.” This year’s event, running  through January 4, 2025, brings Buddy the Elf’s whimsical journey to life through meticulously crafted ice sculptures.

ICE! showcases over 2 million pounds of ice, transformed into a 20,000-square-foot winter wonderland by 40 artisans from Harbin, China. Visitors can explore ten vibrant scenes from “Elf,” including iconic moments like Buddy’s encounter with Mr. Narwhal and his adventures in New York City. The exhibit maintains a frosty 9 degrees Fahrenheit, with parkas provided to guests for comfort.

In addition to the stunning sculptures, ICE! offers interactive experiences such as ice slides and photo opportunities with characters from the film. The event is a highlight of the resort’s “Christmas at Gaylord Palms” celebration, which features a variety of festive activities and shows.

Tickets for ICE! start at $29.99 for adults and $17.99 for children, with various packages available. Given the popularity of the event, advance reservations are recommended.
