KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Thousands of rodeo fans filled the Silver Spurs Arena Friday night as the 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo thundered into Kissimmee, delivering the world-class competition, western heritage, and patriotic spirit that have made it the largest professional rodeo east of the Mississippi.
Before the first bull bucked and the first barrel was turned, fans were introduced to the newly crowned 2026 Miss Silver Spurs Royalty, who will serve as ambassadors for the Silver Spurs Riding Club and Osceola County’s western heritage throughout the coming year.
The 2026 Miss Silver Spurs Court includes Miss Silver Spurs Michaela Wall, First Runner-Up Isabella VanNostrand, and Miss Congeniality Kyrstynn Osborne.
The Junior Miss Silver Spurs Court features Junior Miss Silver Spurs Ivey Rousch, First Runner-Up Tessa Ann McCommon, and Miss Congeniality Taylor Ann Bauknight.
The Little Miss Silver Spurs Court includes Little Miss Silver Spurs Emma Folsom, First Runner-Up Sloan Leonardo, Second Runner-Up Ava Ledo, and Miss Congeniality Jentry Cowell.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments came during the National Anthem. In a heartfelt tribute to the nation, newly crowned Miss Silver Spurs Michaela Wall reverently carried the American flag on horseback while her sister, Hailey Wall, delivered a stirring rendition of the National Anthem. The patriotic presentation drew the attention of the entire arena and served as a fitting reminder of the values celebrated during the rodeo’s Red, White & Rodeo theme.
The night’s entertainment began with an impressive performance by the Silver Spurs Pee Wee Quadrille, whose young riders showcased the future of Osceola County’s western traditions. Later in the evening, the Silver Spurs Junior Quadrille took center stage, dazzling thousands of fans with its precision riding, horsemanship, and synchronized formations.
From there, the action shifted to the rodeo arena, where some of the nation’s top cowboys and cowgirls competed for more than $28,000 in prize money.
Leading the way in the all-around cowboy standings was Ty Chancey, who earned $1,520 competing in tie-down roping and team roping.
In steer wrestling, Tayelen Seabrook posted the fastest run of the night with a 4.3-second effort. Team roping honors went to Ty Veon and Ty Chancey with a winning time of 5.2 seconds.
The saddle bronc riding championship ended in a tie as Connor Brumley, riding the Silver Spurs Club horse Clifford, and Keene Justesen, aboard Spur, each scored 85.5 points.
Randall Carlisle captured the tie-down roping title with a 9.0-second run, while Kali Holt claimed barrel racing with a winning time of 16.39 seconds.
Bull riding brought the crowd to its feet as Ernie Courson Jr. scored 84 points aboard the Silver Spurs Club bull Hair Trigger to earn the event championship and more than $3,600 in winnings. Carson Watford was the only other cowboy to make the whistle, posting an 81.5-point ride.
But the excitement isn’t over.
The second and final performance of the 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo returns to the Silver Spurs Arena tonight at 7:30 p.m., featuring another full slate of rodeo competition, performances by the Silver Spurs Pee Wee and Junior Quadrille teams, and a special tribute to America’s military heroes.
As part of the Red, White & Rodeo celebration, the Silver Spurs Riding Club will honor active-duty and retired members of the United States Armed Forces. Military guests with proof of service can receive a voucher in the arena lobby for a complimentary hot dog or hamburger and a drink courtesy of the Silver Spurs Club with paid admission.
For more than 80 years, the Silver Spurs Riding Club has preserved Osceola County’s ranching heritage while producing one of the nation’s premier rodeo events. Tonight’s final performance promises one more unforgettable ride as the 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo concludes another successful chapter in its storied history.
The action begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park. And if Friday night was any indication, rodeo fans won’t want to miss a second of it.
