Stranger Things Final Season Coming to Life at Halloween Horror Nights 2026

ORLANDO, Fla. — Fans of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things will once again step into the terrifying world of the Upside Down as Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights unveils an all-new haunted house inspired by the fifth and final season of the acclaimed series.

Developed in partnership with Netflix, the new attraction will debut at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood as part of the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights season. The experience is designed to immerse guests in the climactic battle to save Hawkins, bringing some of the final season’s most memorable scenes, characters, and supernatural threats to life.

Visitors will journey through iconic locations featured in the series, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, and the MAC-Z military base, before venturing into the eerie landscapes of the Upside Down and the Abyss. Along the way, guests will encounter Demogorgons, other terrifying creatures, and the series’ infamous villain, Vecna.

According to Universal, the haunted house places guests at the center of the action as the barrier between Hawkins and the supernatural world begins to collapse, unleashing dark forces throughout the town. The attraction aims to recreate the suspense, horror, and atmosphere that have made Stranger Things one of Netflix’s most successful franchises.

The return of Stranger Things marks another chapter in the long-running partnership between Universal and Netflix. Previous haunted houses based on the series have been among the most popular attractions in Halloween Horror Nights history.

In addition to the haunted house experience, Universal has released a new collection of limited-edition merchandise inspired by Stranger Things. The collection includes apparel, drinkware, and collectible figures themed to the haunted house experience and the 1980s-inspired series.

At Universal Orlando Resort, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will run on select nights from Aug. 28 through Nov. 1. The event begins Sept. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood and continues through Nov. 1.

Universal has indicated that additional haunted houses, scare zones, entertainment offerings, and event details for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights will be announced in the coming months.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights are on sale now. Visitors can find additional information through Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood as the event lineup continues to expand ahead of opening night.

Free Beer Returns to SeaWorld Orlando With Daily Guest Samples at Waterway Grill Patio

ORLANDO, Fla. — Free beer is once again flowing at SeaWorld Orlando as the popular Central Florida theme park has brought back complimentary beer samples for guests 21 and older at Waterway Grill Patio.

According to SeaWorld Orlando, eligible guests can receive one free 7-ounce beer sample per day beginning at 12 p.m. and continuing until one hour before park closing for a limited time.

SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members will receive an added perk, with two complimentary 7-ounce beer samples available each day at the same location.

The returning beverage offering revives a longtime SeaWorld tradition that has been a fan favorite among park visitors over the years.

In addition to the complimentary beer samples, SeaWorld Orlando is also featuring daily happy hour specials at several locations throughout the park.

At Waterway Grill Bar, guests can enjoy $5 draft beers, $7 house wines, and $9 specialty cocktails from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Additional happy hour locations include Glacier Bar from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Flamecraft Bar from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

SeaWorld officials noted that guests must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid photo ID to receive or purchase alcoholic beverages inside the park.

The park also stated that beverage service may be delayed or canceled during severe weather conditions and reminded guests to drink responsibly.

The limited-time offer is currently available exclusively at SeaWorld Orlando’s Waterway Grill Patio.

Disney Surprises Central Florida Educators, Invests $1.3 Million in Regional Education Programs

Walt Disney World is celebrating the end of the school year by investing $1.3 million into education initiatives across Central Florida while also bringing a preview of its upcoming “Cool KIDS’ SUMMER” celebration directly to local elementary schools, including one in Osceola County.

The announcement, made Thursday, highlights Disney’s continued partnership with public schools and nonprofit education organizations throughout the region, benefiting students and educators in Orange, Osceola, Lake, Polk, and Seminole counties.

As part of the celebration, Disney teams visited five elementary schools across Central Florida, including St. Cloud Elementary School, where students were treated to interactive activities and appearances by Disney characters ahead of the launch of “Cool KIDS’ SUMMER” at Walt Disney World Resort later this month.

Other participating schools included Engelwood Elementary School in Orange County, Eustis Heights Elementary School in Lake County, Jesse Keen Elementary School in Polk County, and Sterling Park Elementary School in Seminole County.

According to Disney, kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students participated in activities inspired by the upcoming GoofyCore experience debuting this summer at EPCOT, with Goofy and members of the Goof Troop making special appearances during the school visits.

Following the student activities, teachers, administrators, and school staff were recognized during special appreciation gatherings where participating educators received complimentary Walt Disney World theme park tickets for themselves and their families.

“Schools are where the very first sparks of imagination are lit. They’re where young storytellers, dreamers and creators begin to see what’s possible. Supporting Florida students and educators isn’t just important to Disney, it’s essential to who we are,” said Tajiana Ancora-Brown. “Disney is proud to recognize and support the schools and educators who inspire the next generation every single day.”

The investment will support a wide range of educational programs and nonprofit organizations throughout Central Florida, including A Gift for Teaching, Elevate Orlando, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Young People’s Concert program, and Disney Musicals in Schools through the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Disney officials said the funding will help expand access to STEM, literacy, and arts education opportunities for students throughout the region.

Families will soon be able to experience the full “Cool KIDS’ SUMMER” celebration at Walt Disney World Resort beginning May 26 through Sept. 8. The seasonal event will feature kid-focused entertainment, interactive experiences, and family-friendly activities across the resort designed especially for younger guests.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Summer nights at SeaWorld Orlando are about to get louder, brighter, and more electrifying as the park prepares to launch one of its biggest summer entertainment lineups ever beginning June 12.

From an all-new drone spectacular and returning nighttime animal presentations to fireworks, cirque-style performances, immersive lighting environments, and high-energy dance parties, SeaWorld Orlando is transforming its park into a full-scale nighttime celebration for the summer season.

At the center of it all is the return of Electric Ocean, SeaWorld Orlando’s signature summer event that takes over the park after sunset with music, lights, live entertainment, and family-friendly experiences around nearly every corner.

“This summer, SeaWorld is raising the bar across the country—combining really enjoyable and fun nighttime shows and presentations, cutting-edge drone displays, exciting new experiences and nonstop family fun,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts, SeaWorld’s parent company.

An All-New Drone Spectacular Takes Over the Night Sky

One of the biggest additions this summer will be SeaWorld Orlando’s brand-new drone spectacular, featuring hundreds of synchronized drones soaring above the park to create glowing ocean-inspired scenes, sea creatures, rolling waves, and vibrant animations choreographed to music.

The nighttime experience will lead directly into the enhanced return of “Ignite: A Fireworks Spectacular,” combining fireworks, fountains, lighting, and immersive effects into a massive 360-degree nighttime finale over the park’s central lagoon.

Fan-Favorite Nighttime Animal Shows Return

SeaWorld Orlando is also bringing back several fan-favorite nighttime animal presentations with updated energy, lighting, music, and storytelling elements.

“Shamu Celebration: Light Up The Night” returns to Orca Stadium with vibrant visuals, music, and choreography celebrating the beauty and power of killer whales in a festival-style nighttime atmosphere.

Meanwhile, “Sea Lions Tonite” promises even more comedy, personality, and surprises as SeaWorld’s popular sea lions once again take center stage in one of the park’s longtime guest favorites.

“Dolphins: Touch the Sky” will showcase playful bottlenose dolphins through inspiring storytelling, music, and dynamic aerial performances celebrating the connection between humans and marine life.

Hydro Surge and Club SeaGlow Bring New Energy

New this summer, “Hydro Surge” will deliver a pulse-pounding cirque-style spectacular blending acrobatics, dancers, live percussion, and industrial-inspired visuals into an immersive performance driven by the energy of the ocean.

Guests looking for a more upbeat party atmosphere can also experience “Club SeaGlow,” a nighttime DJ dance party featuring music, lighting effects, performers, and interactive entertainment throughout the evening.

Park officials also teased the future debut of another all-new animal presentation expected to be announced later this summer.

From Kissimmee to Disney: One Mother’s 35-Year Journey Creates a Family Legacy of Magic and Opportunity

At The Walt Disney Company, magic is often created in front of guests every day. But behind the scenes, some of the most meaningful stories are the ones built around family, perseverance, and generations growing together.

For Kissimmee resident Connie Latulippe, what began as a simple weekend job at Walt Disney World when she was just 16 years old eventually became a 35-year career, and now, a family legacy.

This Mother’s Day, Disney is spotlighting Connie’s journey as part of a celebration honoring mothers whose careers helped inspire the next generation of cast members.

Connie joined Walt Disney World while still in high school, taking on an after-school job that would eventually lead her through roles across Disney parks and resorts before transitioning into Workforce Management, where she has spent years supporting thousands of cast members behind the scenes.

But while building her career, Connie was also raising two children on her own.

Disney, she says, became more than a workplace for the family. It became part of their lives together.

From family days at the parks and water parks to Disney Cruise Line vacations, Connie’s children grew up immersed in the Disney experience while watching their mother steadily build a career she loved.

Today, that story has come full circle.

Both of Connie’s children now work at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort while also attending Valencia College through Disney Aspire, the company’s education investment program.

Her son, Matthew, works in food and beverage, serving guests while pursuing a passion for pastry and culinary arts. Her daughter, Aiyana, recently began her own Disney journey in recreation while studying business administration, with hopes of eventually stepping into a leadership role.

“Growing up, I always saw how much my mom cared about what she did,” Matthew said. “Watching her build a career here at Disney made me want to find something I’m passionate about too, and Disney has given me the chance to do that.”

For Aiyana, watching her mother’s dedication over the years became a powerful example of what was possible.

“Watching my mom build her career has really inspired me,” Aiyana said. “It pushes me to work hard, keep learning, and believe that one day I can build something just as meaningful.”

Connie says the most rewarding moments of her career are no longer tied to promotions or milestones, but to watching her children begin building futures of their own in the same place where her journey first started decades ago.

“One of my proudest moments has been seeing my kids find their own paths here,” Connie said. “Disney has supported me through every stage of my life, and now I get to see that same support extended to my children.”

Disney officials say stories like Connie’s reflect a broader culture across its parks and resorts, where many cast members spend years building careers while creating opportunities for future generations.

According to Disney, cast members average approximately 12 years with the company, contributing to retention rates above 80 percent at Walt Disney World.

For Disney, the stories of Connie, Jenny, and countless other mothers serve as a reminder that sometimes the greatest legacy is not simply a career, but the example set for the next generation.

“This Mother’s Day,” Disney shared, “families are celebrating more than careers. They’re celebrating legacies of growth, opportunity, and inspiration passed from one generation of cast members to the next.”

De Kissimmee a Disney: El Viaje de 35 Años de una Madre Creó un Legado Familiar de Magia y Oportunidades

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is preparing to mark a major milestone this fall as its globally recognized Halloween Horror Nights returns for its 35th year, running select nights from August 28 through November 1.

Billed as the “World’s Premier Halloween Event,” this year’s celebration will span 48 nights at Universal Studios Florida and is expected to be the most expansive in the event’s history. Organizers say the 2026 edition will feature 10 all-new haunted houses, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, and themed street experiences—along with additional surprises still to be announced.

The park will transform into an “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” bringing together original storylines, classic Halloween Horror Nights lore, and recognizable horror influences.
