Celebrate Responsibly This Fourth of July
As families gather to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, remember to celebrate safely and respectfully.
- Be mindful of pets, as fireworks can create significant stress and anxiety. Keeping pets indoors in a secure, familiar environment can help keep them safe.
- Remember our veterans and active-duty military members. Unexpected fireworks can be difficult for individuals living with PTSD. Being considerate of neighbors helps everyone enjoy the holiday.
- Use caution during dry weather. Although recent rainfall has improved conditions in parts of Central Florida, residents should continue practicing fire safety and follow all local ordinances when using legal consumer fireworks.
- Always supervise children, carefully follow fireworks safety instructions, and never discharge fireworks near homes, vehicles, dry vegetation or large crowds.
From all of us at Positively Osceola, we wish you and your family a safe, happy and memorable America 250 Independence Day Celebration!
