St. Cloud, FL — City Council meetings in City of St. Cloud are officially returning to their original home inside City Hall’s Council Chambers beginning Thursday, January 8, 2026, following the completion of recent renovations.
City Council meetings had been temporarily relocated to the St. Cloud Community Center in October to allow for upgrades inside the Council Chambers. With renovations now complete, officials say the updated space is designed to enhance both in-person attendance and the virtual viewing experience.
The renovated Council Chamber includes new audience seating, updated carpeting, and improved audiovisual technology. City leaders say the enhancements will provide clearer sound, better visuals, and a more comfortable environment for residents attending meetings, as well as those watching via live stream.
As part of standard procedures, attendees will be required to pass through a security screening before entering the Council Chambers.
City Council meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to participate in local government discussions either in person or online.
