The City of St. Cloud is taking its annual Great Outdoors Day event virtual this year and you can be an active part of it!
“This event has been very popular for the past five years, and although it’s outdoors, it would be difficult to maintain social distancing with the crowds it draws,” said Stephanie Holtkamp, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of St. Cloud. “So we’re making it virtual this year.”
The Virtual Great Outdoors Days event will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 14 and continue all week until a finale on Nov. 20. During that week, the City is encouraging people to visit the St. Cloud Lakefront, Chisholm Park, or any park or outdoor recreation venue they enjoy, to participate in healthy, outdoor family fun. However you enjoy the outdoors — fishing, a picnic under the trees, rollerblading, running, walking, flying a kite, playing Frisbee — grab some friends and family and head out there!
