Hey seniors of the Class of 2020! Listen up! We know you’ve gotten a raw deal from an awful circumstance this year. But if you can put off your “senior-itis” for one week, the Osceola County School District will make it a fun week worth your while.

Thanks to the powers of social media, next week will be the Osceola School District’s Senior Spirit Week and Virtual Decision Days, in order to show the Class of 2020 is like no other. Here’s the Spirit Week themes:

Message Monday: Parents, students, and community members are encouraged to use of the District’s Facebook frames to celebrate the Class of 2020. Seniors are also encouraged to frame themselves in one designed for their high school. Just search #SDOCSENIORS.

Takeover Tuesday: Seniors from every high school will will take over the school’s district media accounts! Expect lots of shout-outs and school spirit throughout the day as graduates take the helm and have some fun.

“Where You Going?” Wednesday: Students should post photos showing where they’re going to college or what they will be doing after high school graduation using the hashtag #SDOCDDAY2020. (See the Virtual Decision Days below for more).

Throwback Thursday: Of course it’s #TBT! And now parents get their day! Use #SDOCSeniors2020 to post a cute throwback photo of you graduating Senior. (We’ll excuse the “Dusty Eyeball Syndrome”.)

Surprise Friday: What the district’s social media to see some extra special surprise messages for our seniors.

Hey Seniors! If you haven’t gotten your Virtual Decision Days pics to your College and Career Counselor yet, do it now!

Also mixed in next week are Virtual Decision Days, replacing the college signing celebrations at schools this time of year. It’s a big day that captures the same excitement of when athletes sign their college scholarships. Here’s the schedule of signing days by day and school:

Monday: Poinciana High and Harmony High
Tuesday: Celebration High and St. Cloud High
Wednesday: Osceola High and Zenith Academy
Thursday: Liberty High, Professional and Technical High School (PATHS) and Osceola Virtual School
Friday: Tohopekaliga High, Gateway High and Osceola County School For the Arts
