KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Osceola County Commissioner for District 1 Peggy Choudhry is inviting residents to connect with vital local services and community organizations during the upcoming 2026 Community Resource Fair, set for Wednesday, May 6.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Irlo Apartments, located at 5565 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, and is open to all Osceola County residents.

Designed to bring essential resources directly to the community, the fair will feature a wide range of services, including housing and community assistance, veterans services, health resources through the Florida Department of Health, and legal support from Community Legal Services of Mid Florida. Organizers say additional agencies and service providers will also be on site to assist residents with information and access to programs that can support families and individuals across the county.

“This event is about making sure our residents know what’s available to them and how to access the services that can make a real difference in their lives,” Commissioner Choudhry said in promoting the event.

In addition to informational resources, attendees can take part in giveaways and raffles throughout the day, adding an extra incentive for families to attend and engage with local organizations.

Officials emphasize that the Community Resource Fair reflects Osceola County’s ongoing commitment to outreach, accessibility, and strengthening connections between residents and the services designed to support them.
