Creative Inspiration Journey School, a tuition-free Pre-K – 7th grade public charter school in St. Cloud has been the talk of the town in education since opening their doors in the St. Cloud community in 2019, and on Wednesday April 20 at 6pm they will host a community informational tour that will showcase their facility, their educators, and some of why CIJS is a leader in innovative education in Osceola County.

Creative Inspiration Journey School was founded as an early childhood educational program inspired by the groundbreaking Reggio Emilia Approach to learning. What began as a small movement in the town of Reggio Emilia in post-war Italy, soon emerged as one of the world’s foremost childhood learning systems with a strong emphasis upon community, individual respect, and social responsibility.

The Reggio Emilia Approach allows children to direct the learning process according to their own needs in a less-structured environment that gives students the chance to grow at their own pace both as individuals and community members.

Based upon these principles, CIJS in St. Cloud creates a warm and caring environment where children love to learn through guided self-discovery, imagination, and creativity—while interacting with others in a friendly and safe atmosphere.

Want to learn more? Experience an informational tour at the school’s beautiful campus this Wednesday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at 2030 Old Hickory Tree Road (between U.S. 192 and Nolte Road and across from Wawa). Limited seating will be available so make sure to get there early.

They will also be discussing the school’s soon-coming expansion.

And remember… Pre-kindergarten through seventh-grade enrollment for 2022-23 is currently underway. Go to CIJSStCloud.org for more information and to enroll.
