For locals and non-locals alike it’s been a way to leave the stress of everyday life behind at a moment’s notice and to escape to a beautifully happy place of wonder and joy. That happy place is Walt Disney World. Well, that hasn’t changed, it’s still the happiest place in the world, but unless you’re already an annual pass holder, you’ll have to buy a single-day or special multi-day pass.

Walt Disney World in Florida will allow their current pass holders to renew, but they will no longer be selling any annual passes, at least not for now.

Disneyland in California has stopped its annual pass program entirely after making the announcement earlier this week that it will allow local county health officials to use its parking for a mega coronavirus vaccination site.

The California Disney park has been shuttered since March at the outset of the pandemic. In Florida, Disneyworld reopened in July with reduced capacity along with the mandatory wearing of masks and social distancing.
