In a spine-chilling yet romantic celebration of love, eleven couples gathered at the Historic Osceola County Courthouse on Halloween morning to exchange vows at the Third Annual Halloween Group Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Hosted by Osceola Clerk of the Circuit Court & County Comptroller Kelvin Soto, Esq., the iconic courthouse in Kissimmee was transformed into a whimsically eerie wedding venue, complete with cobwebs, pumpkins, and gothic arrangements of black and purple roses. Guests enjoyed a hauntingly delightful atmosphere, complete with Halloween-themed treats, including “horrifyingly delicious” cupcakes, making the day truly memorable for all who attended.
As ten couples pledged “until death do us part” and one couple renewed their lifelong commitment, Halloween-themed music added a touch of magic to the air, creating an enchanting atmosphere for all.
For many, Halloween stirs cherished memories from childhood, making it an ideal date to celebrate new beginnings surrounded by loved ones. Embracing the unconventional, Halloween weddings offer a unique, whimsical alternative to traditional ceremonies, attracting couples who appreciate a touch of nonconformity.
With its blend of nostalgia and festivity, the Osceola County Clerk & Comptroller’s Office Halloween wedding provided a one-of-a-kind setting for those looking to make their special day unforgettable.
During the ceremony, Clerk & Comptroller Kelvin Soto warmly expressed, “May there never be tricks in your marriage, only treats, and may your love remain sweet for all eternity.”
Since taking office in January 2021, Soto and his team have been dedicated to creating unique, heartfelt experiences that resonate deeply with Osceola County residents. Community-centered events, such as the Halloween wedding ceremony, are part of Soto’s commitment to celebrating love and commitment in ways that leave lasting memories for all involved.
