The Envision St. Cloud citywide visioning project completes its Phase III week-long Design Workshop tonight, Aug. 24, at 6-8 p.m., at the Marina Banquet Hall (1104 Lakeshore Blvd.). The public is welcome at tonight’s workshop.

“We are now finalizing the vision,” said City of St. Cloud Planning and Zoning Manager and Envision St. Cloud Project Manager Andre Anderson. “During this phase, we will clearly see what the community wants our city to look like in the next 25 years. This is the final phase before presentation to City Council. We look forward to welcoming even more public input during this phase of the project. During the first workshop, we will recap all the work completed to date. GAI Consultants, Inc., will then work on the design and we will then conduct the second workshop to showcase the week’s work.”

Phase III is the most intense phase of the Envision St. Cloud project. It will feature the creation of a Citywide Master Plan based on the Phase I and Phase II findings. The plan will include urban design frameworks, land use and zoning frameworks, character area visions, economic development plans, citywide fiscal strategies and a primary action list.

Upon completion of Phase III, the project will move on to Phase IV, which will feature the presentation of the Citywide Master Plan to St. Cloud City Council.
