The City will hold an information session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the lobby of City Hall to provide information to and answer questions from residents interested in applying for the 2025 Citizens Academy class.

The application period will be November 1st through November 30th, and the class will be selected no later than Friday, December 13.

The 2025 Citizens Academy will start on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, and continue weekly each Tuesday through graduation on April 1.

Citizens Academy is an interactive, immersive experience designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at how their City government works to create more informed residents and foster interest in citizen involvement on City boards, committees, or elected office.
