Late Thursday evening a 38-year-old father and his 2-year-old daughter died after driving off the road near Kissimmee Bay Blvd. and Fortune Road then striking a tree, which caused their car to become engulfed in flames.
According to FHP, an SUV was traveling westbound on Kissimmee Bay Boulevard around 11 pm Thursday night when for some reason it went off the road hitting a nearby tree and then catching fire.
Both the father and 2-year-old daughter were wearing seat belts but were both unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. The crash continues to be under investigation.
