Who doesn’t like to hear that gas prices are expected to drop? What makes it even better is when it looks like it will happen during a holiday travel time!

According to a recent report released by AAA, gas prices are expected to drop 5-10 cents per gallon through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The expected drop in gas experts say is due to an increase in crude and gasoline inventories in the United States.
The average in Florida for a gallon of regular gas is $2.49 per gallon, down from $2.52 last week. The national average for regular gas is currently at $2.54 per gallon.

However, gas is actually at its highest price for the holiday since 2014, but with prices looking to continue to fall, we may see prices in a more pleasing price area by the Christmas holiday. Only time will tell!

Waze, the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app, is predicting that Tuesday between 4 and 6pm will be the busiest time through the Thanksgiving holiday to be on the road, so gas up ahead of time everyone!
