Next week will start with 323 COVID-19 cases after added six on Sunday and 18 over the entire weekend.

As reported by the Florida Department of Health, the number of hospitalizations (96) and deaths (five) hasn’t changed since Friday, but as a community we must stay vigilant in our social distancing efforts and staying home or away from other people as much as possible. Reporting numbers might have also been down over the weekend during the Easter religious holiday, so Monday’s reporting numbers may bump or spike.

The total amount of positive coronavirus cases in Florida is just a hundred or so from 20,000 total, and there have been 461 fatalities.

As a reminder, the county’s mandate to cover your face with a simple mask or cloth covering goes into effect after midnight tonight.
