The Florida Department of Health has reported that the state has set a new single-day COVID-19 case record with 11,458, bringing the total number of cases in Florida to 190,052 with a total of 3,702 deaths.

Osceola unfortunately also set a record by adding 255 new cases, bringing it’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,781 since early March.

Osceola also added an additional coronavirus-related death to its tally, which is now at 26.

There were 70, 063 negative tests results in Florida, 11,045 positives, making the positivity rate 14%.

In Osceola County  there were 1051 negative test results and 255 positives, making the positivity rate 19.5%.
