A specific lot of Fresh Express salad kits have been recalled due to potential E. coli contamination, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released Monday night.

The Sunflower Crisp Chopped Salad Kits in question, with green cabbage, romaine lettuce, kale, red cabbage and carrots, have the UPC number 0 71279 30906 4, lot codes starting with ‘Z’ and “Best Before” dates through Dec. 7, 2019.

If you have one of these bags the CDC recommends you throw it away, even if some of it’s been eaten and nobody got sick, and to clean and sanitize whatever refrigerator surfaces came in contact with the bag by wiping with hot, soapy water and drying with a clean towel.

It’s been a tough year for lettuce — romaine lettuce grown in Salinas, California was recalled earlier in the year for the same E. coli concerns.
