Gas prices continue to rise closer to the $3 per gallon mark ahead of Spring with the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline increasing to $2.86. Florida’s average price is a penny below the national average and Osceola County is at $2.81 per gallon.
Rising crude prices, tightening gas supplies, and increased gas demand continue to drive pump prices to higher ground.
Last week’s demand for gas was the highest since the end of November 2020. If these trends continue alongside higher crude prices, drivers can expect pump prices to continue to increase.
