Gatorland is gearing up for its Fifth Annual Gatorpalooza festival on May 18-19, 2024, marking the start of its 75th Anniversary celebrations. The event will be an extra-special Diamond Jubilee Celebration, featuring a weekend filled with fun and games.
Mark McHugh, President and CEO of Gatorland, expressed his excitement about the upcoming festival, “We are excited beyond belief to be celebrating 75 amazing years in our Central Florida community. It’s a real joy to share this historic event with all our friends and visitors who have supported us and watched us grow all these years.” Visitors can expect to meet the park’s most beloved alligators, including Jawlene, the world-famous rescue alligator, and the rare duo Mystic the Leucistic and her brother Mayhem.
During the festival, guests will be treated to a variety of events, starting on Saturday, May 18th with the Gatorland Vlog team participating in the Florida Man Challenge. On Sunday, May 19th, they’ll test their skills in the Mechanical Alligator Rodeo. The festival will feature specialty foods, craft vendors, artisans, music, and games for families. Guests can also enjoy the Gator Gully Splash Park, which is included in park admission, and provides a refreshing break in the Florida heat.
Gatorpalooza 2024 will be a weekend packed with activities and entertainment, all included with regular park admission.
