The School District of Osceola County will be opening its new STEM School, Tohopekaliga High School, in just a few weeks, but while the summer has marched on, so has the construction of Harmony Middle School.

With the rapid growth of the eastern side of Osceola County its been obvious for quite a while that a new middle school would need in that sector of the school district. The construction of the 170,000 sq. ft. Harmony Middle School next to Harmony High School is designed to fill that need and be available to over 1400 students by August 2019.

The two-story structure was designed by SchenkelShultz Architecture and built by Moss Construction, and will include administration offices, a state of the art media center, an 800-seat gymnasium, a multi-purpose field with track, baseball field, basketball court and much more.

Harmony Middle School is one of five new school district projects that are slated over the next five years. Positively Osceola will continue to share updates on Harmony Middle School as construction progress continues.
