Three people were killed on Tuesday in a head-on crash in Osceola County that took place on State Road 60, authorities said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a man  driving a 2011 Honda van was driving eastbound on S.R. 60 near Peavine road at around 5:50 a.m. when he, for some unknown reason, drifted into the westbound lane and struck a 2008 Honda Pilot head on, according to the FHP report.

Both drivers were killed in the crash along with a passenger in the Honda Pilot. The crash remains under investigation.
