The Osceola Chamber hosted its 100th Annual Meeting on Saturday night at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, bringing together community leaders, board members, and elected officials for an evening filled with laughter, fellowship, celebration, and reflection. This milestone event welcomed Tim Weisheyer as the 2025 Chairman of the Board in a night themed “Boots to Suits – 100 Years of Osceola Heritage.”
The evening began with a cocktail reception in the Coronado Springs Convention Center lobby, where attendees—many dressed in formal cowboy attire—enjoyed photo opportunities with Disney’s Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. The celebration then moved into the ballroom, where the country band Hayfire and the powerful vocals of Takara Lee Speagle entertained the Coronado Springs’ packed ballroom.
Following the musical entertainment, 2024 Chairman Carlos Velez took the stage to present the Chairman’s Award to Chamber Trustee Chairman and owner of ABC Paving and Sealcoating, Shawn Savage, in recognition of his unwavering dedication and advocacy for the Chamber.
Following dinner, the traditional “passing of the gavel” took center stage. In this ritual, past chairs of the Chamber literally passed an oversized gavel to each other, symbolizing decades of leadership and unity. The gavel finally made its way to 2025 Chairman Tim Weisheyer, who shared his vision for the Chamber’s future and aspirations for the coming year.
