Effective January 1, 2025, Hope Partnership will officially transition its identification assistance program from IDignity Osceola to Hope Identification (Hope IDs). This change reflects the organization’s commitment to providing seamless services while better aligning with its mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities.

Since 2016, IDignity Osceola has helped individuals navigate the challenging process of obtaining essential identification documents. Without these documents, many face barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, and other fundamental needs. Over the years, this program has empowered individuals to overcome these obstacles, fostering stability and self-sufficiency.

“While the name of the program is changing, the mission remains the same: to serve individuals facing challenges in obtaining identification,” said Rev. Mary Lee Downey, CEO of Hope Partnership. “Hope IDs will continue to build on the legacy of IDignity Osceola, with deep gratitude to IDignity Inc. for their years of guidance and partnership, while planning for future growth to meet the evolving needs of our community.”

The transition to Hope IDs ensures uninterrupted services for current and future clients. Staff members who previously operated under IDignity Osceola will remain with Hope Partnership, continuing the trusted, hands-on support that clients depend on.

“This transition marks a celebration of the incredible progress we have achieved together. It has exemplified the power of partnership and IDignity is proud to have partnered with Hope Partnership since 2016 in providing essential identification services,” said Michael Dippy, Executive Director of IDignity. “We are confident that Hope Identification (Hope IDs) will continue this important work, ensuring that individuals in need have the identification documents they require to access vital opportunities.”

Hope IDs will maintain its presence at Hope Cares Day, providing neighbors experiencing homelessness with a variety of resources, including identification assistance.

The transition to Hope IDs represents an exciting new chapter for Hope Partnership. The organization plans to expand its holistic approach, using its expertise to offer even more comprehensive support to individuals facing poverty and homelessness.

Since 2016, this collaboration has provided invaluable insights and experience for both organizations. It has enhanced IDignity’s strategy for successful replication of its unique identification services and new locations. It has also provided the framework for Hope Partnership to continue its current identification services while also using their current expertise to expand on offering even more comprehensive support to individuals facing poverty and homelessness. This transition marks an exciting new chapter for Hope Partnership, furthering its mission to strengthen communities, empower neighbors, and build hope through holistic care.
