A 24-yeaar-old Kissimmee man was arrested Thursday after allegedly throwing a soda can at a moving vehicle during a road rage incident, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Raul Edwardo Braddock-Toala was taken into custody Thursday and is facing a second-degree felony charge of throwing a missile into a vehicle and a third-degree felony charge of criminal mischief.

The incident dates back to March 3, when the victim, Allen Ellis, reported that Braddock-Toala became aggressive after an unsuccessful attempt to cut him off in traffic. When Ellis refused to yield, Braddock-Toala allegedly honked his horn, drove around Ellis, and threw several objects—including a full soda can—which struck Ellis’s vehicle and caused over $1,000 in damage.

Ellis submitted dash camera footage and recorded the vehicle’s license plate, leading deputies to identify the suspect vehicle as a 2011 Nissan SUV registered to Aadam Ali Syed.

During the investigation, Syed admitted to throwing a Dibs Ice Cream snack at Ellis’s vehicle but stated it was in response to Ellis allegedly throwing something first. Syed also identified Braddock-Toala as the passenger who threw the soda can.

Braddock-Toala was booked into the Osceola County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
