Kissimmee Utility Authority has announced the winners of its 32nd annual Student Calendar Art Contest, celebrating the creativity of young artists across Osceola County while promoting the importance of energy conservation.

Open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade, this year’s contest drew an impressive 1,748 submissions from 18 Osceola County elementary schools. In November, a panel of judges selected 12 standout pieces—one for each month of the 2026 “Calendar of Energy Conservation.”

The 2026 featured student artists are:

  • Amina Adam, Osceola Science Charter, 2nd grade

  • Andrea McGee, Osceola Science Charter, 1st grade

  • Arianna Lee Gines, Oak Tree Christian Academy, 3rd grade

  • Camila Torres, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 3rd grade

  • Dylan Londono, Voyager K-8, 4th grade

  • Emma V. Ramos, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 2nd grade

  • Gretza Rivera-Roman, Lakeview Elementary, 1st grade

  • Krystal Montalto, Osceola Science Charter School, 1st grade

  • Liam Yafac Leon, Michigan Avenue Elementary, 1st grade

  • Maria Pirela, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 5th grade — Grand Prize Winner

  • Sebastian Cuberos, Flora Ridge Elementary, 4th grade

  • Shaira Nicole Cintron, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, 5th grade

Each winning student will receive a $150 cash prize, and their artwork will be published in the upcoming 2026 KUA calendar. The grand prize winner, Maria Pirela, will also have her artwork featured on the calendar’s cover, as well as displayed on a KUA fleet vehicle for one year.

In addition to student awards, KUA is providing support to local schools:

  • Holy Redeemer Catholic School, home of the grand prize winner, will receive $750 in art supplies.

  • Lakeview Elementary School, which submitted the most entries, will receive $500 in art supplies.

The 2026 Energy Conservation Calendars will be available free of charge beginning in January.

Positively Osceola congratulates all the talented young artists and applauds KUA for continuing to inspire creativity and energy awareness across the community.
