The Mega Millions® jackpot is reaching historic heights once again. With no grand prize winner in Tuesday night’s drawing, the jackpot has soared to an estimated $843 million ($391.7 million cash option) for the next drawing on Friday, November 7 — making it the eighth largest jackpot in the game’s history.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were 11, 14, 17, 50, and 57, with a Mega Ball of 6, but no ticket matched all six. This upcoming drawing marks the 38th consecutive roll since the last jackpot win on June 27 in Virginia — setting a new record for the longest streak without a jackpot winner since Mega Millions began in 2002. The previous record, 37 drawings, was set in January 2021 when a $1.05 billion prize was claimed in Michigan.

Millions of Winners Nationwide

While no one has taken home the jackpot yet, millions of players have still cashed in. Over the course of this jackpot run, there have been nearly 11.7 million winning tickets across all prize tiers, totaling more than $274 million in winnings.

That includes 17 second-tier prizes worth $1 million or more, with eight winners hitting the 2X multiplier and seven others landing 3X. Florida joined the list of states with second-tier wins, alongside California, Texas, New York, and others.

The run has also produced 256 third-tier prizes ranging from $20,000 to $100,000 in 40 states, including several in Florida. In the November 4 drawing alone, there were 606,046 winning tickets, totaling over $12.2 million in nationwide prizes. One Florida ticket matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win $40,000.

Before this latest streak, Mega Millions saw four jackpot wins earlier in 2025:

  • Arizona – $112 million (January 17)

Record-Breaking History

How to Play

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Each ticket costs $5 and includes a randomly assigned multiplier (2X–10X) that boosts non-jackpot prizes. Drawings take place at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.

Half of all ticket sales remain in the state where the ticket is sold, supporting state-funded causes and local retailers. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 23.
