October at the Old Town in Kissimmee is chocked full of special events and fun, including the 18th Annual VetteFest on Saturday, Oct. 7, the AutoFest Judged Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Annual Halloween Event on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Honoring classic and new Corvettes, registration for VetteFest participants starts at 10 a.m. on Oct. 7 with cars on display until 3 p.m, when the Corvette Only Cruise begins down Main Street.  Special VetteFest T-shirts will be on sale for just $15 each. Live music from Rocktown begins at noon and from Blue Stone Circle at 7 p.m., both from the Old Town Main Stage.

On Oct. 14, the AutoFest Judged Car Show featuring muscle and classic cars is back.  Participating judged automobiles include show quality 1964 and newer muscle and high- performance cars and trucks, and 1985 and older antiques, hot rods and classics.  Registration takes place from 1 to 6 p.m,, car judging from 6 to 8 p.m. and the Saturday Night Classic Car Cruise at 8:30 p.m.  Prizes and trophies to be presented immediately following the car cruise. Live music from Groove Infusion begins at 7 p.m. from the Old Town Main Stage.

Old Town will also get its scare on for Halloween on Oct. 31 with free trick or treating from 5 to 7 p.m.  Candy stations will be located throughout the streets of Old Town, with live entertainment from the Thriller Dancers on the Old Town Stage and Costume Contest at 7 p.m.

“October is such a fun time at Old Town,” said Thearon Scurlock, Vice President and General Manager. “Our specialty car events are extremely popular, plus everyone loves trick or treating with us and seeing our Thriller Dancers.”
