This morning, the trial of Anthony Todt, accused of killing his wife, kids, and family dog, in their Celebration home will begin with opening statements at the Osceola County Courthouse.

The jury is made up of eight women and six men after being selected and sworn in last Wednesday.

In 2020, Osceola County sheriff’s deputies and federal investigators were attempting to arrest Todt(46), a Connecticut physical therapist, for health care fraud when he was found at home with his dead wife Meghan Todt, 13-year-old son Alek Todt, 11-year-old son Tyler Todt, 4-year-old daughter Zoe Todt, and the family dog Breezy on Jan. 13, 2020. Law enforcement officers found that Todt’s family members had been decomposing in the home for a month before they were discovered.

According to the medical examiner’s report said the victims died from Benadryl overdoses and they were stabbed.

After initially confessing, Todt has blamed his wife for the murders. The judge has said that the trial should last two weeks.
