The Osceola County School Board has announced a series of new administrative appointments and transfers, approved during their meeting on August 13, 2024, aimed at enhancing leadership within the district’s schools and departments.

Jacqueline Miglionico, Principal of Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies

Jacqueline Miglionico has held the following positions at Celebration High: Teacher (2005-2006); Counselor (2006-2010); IB Counselor (2010-2013); Guidance Director (2013-2018); IB Coordinator (2013-2018); and Assistant Principal (2018-present). She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.

Marcos Tirado, Assistant Principal at Celebration High

Marcos Tirado has held the following positions: Teacher at North Warren Regional School District in New Jersey (2009-2022) and Teacher and Dean at Tohopekaliga High (2022-present). He received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from East Stroudsburg University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Steton Hall University.

Orville Watson, Coordinator of Transportation

Orville Watson has held the following positions: Direction of Training for NYC Department of Transportation (2002-2007); Safety and Loss Prevention Analyst for Orange County Utilities (2007-2008); Safety Administrator at Orange County Utilities (2008-2022); and Safety and Compliance Supervisor for the Osceola School District’s Transportation Department (2022-present). He received a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.

Eugenia Rolando, Principal at Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies, will now be Assistant Principal at the Osceola County School for the Arts
