The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that took place earlier this week in Kissimmee.
On September 3, 2025, just after 1:00 a.m., deputies responded to The Irlo Hotel, located at 5565 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, following reports of an unknown medical problem. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man lying face down on the ground. The victim, identified as 37-year-old David Donahue-Alayon of Orlando, had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As the investigation unfolded, detectives identified 33-year-old Shahzaib Ahmed Khan as the suspect in the killing. An arrest warrant was issued for Khan on a charge of Murder with a Firearm, and authorities warned the public that he was considered armed and dangerous.
On Thursday evening, September 4, 2025, Osceola deputies, with assistance from law enforcement partners, located Khan in the Tangelo Park area of Orange County. He was taken into custody around 11:00 p.m.
