The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday, June 7, at the RaceTrac gas station located at 2990 North John Young Parkway in Kissimmee — and they need the public’s help to identify the suspect.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, an unknown Black male suspect entered the business wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and a blue medical-style face mask. The suspect reportedly brandished a black handgun that appeared to be equipped with a silencer and pointed it at the store employee.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit say the suspect demanded money from the register, which the employee placed into a drawstring backpack. The suspect then fled the scene. It is currently unknown whether he escaped on foot or in a vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (407) 348-2222 or report anonymously to Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
