On Wednesday July 13 the school district is partnering with Career Source where they hope to find new bus drivers for the district – more information to follow. And, on July 26th  from 8 am to 12 pm at their Transportation Department Compound located at 401 Simpson Road in Kissimmee, the district will holding its second transportation job fair.

With student populations in Osceola County growing and with a shortage of bus drivers in Central Florida and around the nation, it has put pressure on school districts to fill their bus driving positions adequately.on

Every day, the Osceola County School District transports precious cargo to and from schools safely – that being roughly 26,000 students, and so the district is looking for additional bus drivers. Here are some details:

  • Starting pay $16.50
  • Free on-the-job training
  • No nights or weekends required
  • Off most major holidays
