St. Cloud Police Department and the City of St. Cloud presented Prescriptions Unlimited, a locally owned pharmacy on 13th Street in St. Cloud, a Certification of Appreciation Friday.

Prescriptions Unlimited, and its owner Eric Larson, provided the city and first responders with essential hard-to-find supplies during  the COVID-19 pandemic, which started to take hold in March. At the onset of the pandemic locally, and nationally, essential items that first responders needed in order to ensure their health, were in short supply.

“Many of us didn’t have supplies readily available and we were scrambling for disinfectants and sanitizers,” St. Cloud Police Chief Pete Gauntlett said. You stepped up and got creative, and did some unique things that really helped us start off in the right way at the beginning of the Coronavirus. It’s a shame we’re here still wearing masks and taking these precautions, but we greatly appreciate the gesture from you Mr. Larson, and Prescriptions Unlimited in St. Cloud.”

According to Prescriptions Unlimited, they had alternate ways of obtaining those supplies through different channels and were fortunate to have access to important supplies other businesses couldn’t get. They were glad they could help the St. Cloud Police Department when they had a need.

“We’ve always wanted to help the community as much as we can. We love this city and we want to help, owner Eric Larson said.”

Positively Osceola would like to thank Prescriptions Unlimited, and its owner Eric Larson, for making a Positive Difference in and around Osceola County.
