On June 1, 2021, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:
Dr. Lastenia Penaloza, Executive Director of Multicultural Curriculum, Instruction, and Compliance
Dr. Lastenia Penaloza has held the following positions: Fiscal Officer at Pomonok Community Center (2003-2005); Middle School Teacher at Imagine Schools (2005-2008); ESOL Program Specialist at Imagine Schools (2008-2011); School Administrator at Imagine Schools (2011-2016); School Administrator for Osceola County School District (2016-2019); and Coordinator for Multicultural Curriculum, Instruction, and Compliance for Osceola County Schools (2019-Present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Queens College CUNY, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and her doctorate degree in Performance Improvement Leadership from Capella University.
Dr. Jeanette Long, Coordinator of Multicultural Curriculum, Instruction, and Compliance
Dr. Jeanette Long has held the following positions: ESOL Resource & Compliance Specialist at Ana G. Mendez University System (2007-2009 & 2014-2015); Adjunct Professor at Ana G. Mendez University System (2009-2015); Middle School Teacher – Dance at Osceola County School for the Arts (1996-2014); and Assistant Principal at Osceola County School for the Arts (2015-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in Integration of Technology in the Classroom from Walden University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education, and her doctorate degree in Post-Secondary and Adult Education from Capella University.

Elizabeth Terry, currently Assistant Principal at Boggy Creek Elementary, will be Assistant Principal at Kissimmee Elementary.

Lastenia Penaloza ha ocupado los siguientes puestos: oficial fiscal en el Centro Comunitario Pomonok (2003-2005); maestra de escuela intermedia en Imagine Schools (2005-2008); especialista del programa ESOL en Imagine Schools (2008-2011); administradora escolar en Imagine Schools (2011-2016); administradora escolar para el Distrito Escolar del Condado Osceola (2016-2019); y coordinadora de programas de estudio, instrucción y cumplimiento multicultural para las escuelas del condado Osceola (2019-Presente). Obtuvo su bachillerato en Contabilidad de Queens College CUNY, una maestría en Liderazgo Educativo de la Universidad Nova Southeastern y su doctorado en Liderazgo para la Mejora del Desempeño de Capella University.
