SeaWorld Orlando’s after-hours Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream, returns for its fifth year on select nights from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1, 2025, transforming the park into an adults-targeted realm of haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, night rides and themed bars. The separately ticketed event begins at 7 p.m. (gates open at 6:30 p.m.). Discounted single-night and multi-night offers are available online.

SeaWorld is billing 2025 as “5 Years of Fear,” headlined by a new event icon, Havoc — The Face of Fear, described as a punisher who “rides between worlds,” replacing the long-running Sirens storyline.

Haunted houses: three all-new, two returning

This year’s maze lineup features five houses, including three debuts:

  • Widow’s Nest (NEW): a decaying Victorian orphanage ruled by the Black Widow.

  • The Rave Yard (NEW): an underground cemetery rave where the party never dies.

  • The Collector’s Curse (NEW): a gilded estate whose artifacts exact a terrifying price.

  • Farm 51 (returning): extraterrestrial aftermath on an isolated farm.

  • Water’s Edge Wellness Center (returning favorite): a lakeside facility where the past refuses to rest.

Scare zones: four new frights join two fan favorites

Guests will navigate six outdoor terror zones: Trailer Park Tragedy (NEW), Echoes in the Glass (NEW), Ashes of the Forgotten (NEW), Woodrot Hollow (NEW), plus returning favorites Blood Light District and Cannibal Harbor.

Shows, coasters in the dark, and interactive bars

Entertainment includes the return of Monster Stomp, a rock-and-rhythm take on Jack the Ripper, and a new circus-sideshow spectacle, Hellzapoppin Presents: The Grave Danger Thrill Show. Select attractions—including Mako, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, Ice Breaker, and Infinity Falls—operate in the dark throughout the night.

Themed bars also play a big role, with Tormented, Space Gate 3, and CarnEvil Curiosities returning and two additional bars listed as “coming soon.”

Upgrades, tours, and front-of-line options

Skip-the-line options include Front Line Fear (one entry to each house) and Front Line Fear Extreme (front-of-line at houses and major rides plus reserved Monster Stomp seating). A new VIP Terror Tour bundles admission with a private guide, priority access to houses, rides and bars, dinner, and reserved show seating.

Food & drink: “Taste the Terror”

SeaWorld is promoting a fresh “Taste the Terror” lineup with specialty bites and Siren Cocktails such as the Hex, Flame, and Darkness, alongside beers and wines.
