A soccer coach has been accused of touching a 9-year-old player on his team inappropriately, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Osceola Deputies said the boy reported the incidents on July 16, days after he called his mother, upset and asking to be picked up from soccer practice early.

The mother of the victim reported that her son’s  soccer coach, 22-year-old Hugo Jimenez-Rumbos,  had inappropriately touched her child on the way to a soccer practice and also during a soccer exercise.  Jimenez-Rumbos admitted to abusing the boy.

Hugo confessed to five counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a Victim Under 12 Years of Age and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct.

Hugo was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with a zero bond. Detectives believe there could be additional victims and continue to investigate this case.
