For many long time St. Cloud residents, the St. Cloud Flea Market was often part of the weekend’s activities. Tools, Live plants, antiques and  car window tinting were just a portion of what could be found at the flea market for many year. Much of that faded away as time passed and the little town of St. Cloud continue to grow and the once well-attended market became an aged and empty shell.

All traces of the flea market are gone now, and have already been replaced by the beginnings of a new retail center, soon to be accessible to St. Cloud and all who will find it more convenient than the Loop in Kissimmee. It’s easy to see the large concrete walls being joined together to form what will be stores like, Hobby Lobby, PetSmart, Bulk Nation, Five Below, Ulta, Marshalls, Ross, Famous Footwear, Berkshire, Sally Beauty, Lee Nails, Sport Clips, Thompson Jewelers, At Lease and Outback Steakhouse.

Our video shows  that the retail center is progressing well and that the construction company developing the shopping center, the Williams Company, has done an amazing job keeping the job site area well organized and very clean. With as much dry weather as we had previously, that was very important in the development not contributing to trash levels in the community. Thanks Williams Company.

We’ll keep you updated to the progress of the retail center as the work continues into the summer!
